Pocket Time - Poem by R W Miller

God gives us pocket time, So to speak One six eight hours every week, We spend Forty hours working, Fifty in sleep, And an hour a day to keep ourselves neat. (and the same time again allows us to eat) Fifty-eight hours are left to share, Half for our selves , and half to take care, Of those of our neighbours, who find life unfair. That leaves twenty nine hours for me, I declare, That's four hours a day, and its never too long But when I come to use it, There it was, gone!
